**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Vacuum, cleaning, and wet moping carpets and floor duties.
- Cleaning, disinfecting and dusting all surfaces.
- Empty, clean, and disposing of trash.
- Clean wash washrooms, mirrors, and sinks.
- Makeup beds and change linens.
- Tidy up rooms.
- Wash windows as scheduled.
- Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry, and sort, fold and put away clean laundry.
- Operate cleaning equipment.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
- Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen according to agreed hygiene standards.
- Kitchen duties including preparation of food.
- Restock room supplies.
- Check all appliances in rooms are in working order.
- Cook lunch and prepare snacks.
- Help with decoration duties.
- Help with all functioning.
- Follow all center's safety and security procedures.

**Abilities and skills**:

- Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)

Holding Food Safe Certificate is an asset.
