Sign & Lighting Technician

The sign industry is a large and growing market in Canada. YESCO has operated as a business for over 100 years providing service, repair, maintenance and installation services to our customers. Today YESCO is internationally recognized with close to 100 locations for our best-of-class customer service and a tradition of innovative excellence.

The successful applicant will be completing minor and major sign and lighting service repairs and installs (mainly outdoors), LED retrofits, documenting work orders, and communicating with customers and other members of the YESCO team.

**Essential requirements**:

- Must be a motivated self-starter who enjoys working alone and communicating with customers
- Positive attitude with an interest in executing a proven business model in a new office/territory
- Willing to work in all types of weather conditions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in the sign and lighting industry
- Mechanically inclined with an aptitude for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Comfortable with the use of modern technology in a paperless environment (eg. Smartphone app)
- Must be neat, friendly and able to deal with customers professionally
- Clean driving record (documentation required)
- Ability to work at heights

**Position Details**:

- Full-time Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime when required
- Use of company truck for business use. This will be a brand new F550 with a 40 foot Altec boom.
- Competitive wages based on qualifications and experience
- NOTE: We service all areas of Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland with an initial focus servicing customers south of the Fraser.
- Travel for training or to service worksites outside of the Lower Mainland will be required on occasion, but not often.

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.75 per year

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Drivers license with clean driving history (required)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
