Location- The Royal Conservatory - Toronto, ON M5S 1W2 CA (Primary)- Job Description***:
Operating within the Performing Arts Division, this position works closely with operations, box office, and security to ensure patron satisfaction, comfort and safety. Reporting to the Front of House Manager, this position will exhibit passion for the arts, a friendly personality and will uphold the standards of the department and mandate of the company.

**JOB DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Recognize all opportunities where you can provide exemplary patron service to all customers and clients using the services of the TELUS Centre.
- Actively participate in the culture of the building by developing a keen interest in its many components.
- Coordinate Front of House functions such as temperature scanning, patron seating, program distribution, lobby displays, and upkeep.
- Direct and manage patron-traffic to maintain safe and effective flow in all public areas.
- Troubleshoot and resolve patron dissatisfaction in an efficient, professional, and engaging manner.
- Remain current and up-to-date with all Health and Safety Procedures, Emergency Preparedness, Fire Safety and issues of Accessibility.
- Maintain a current knowledge of events and services available in and around the Centre to be able to expertly respond to patron and client inquiries.
- Communicate and enforce house policies with respect to masking, distancing, late calls, cameras/recording devices, etc.
- Monitor quality of stage sound, auditorium temperature, the physical space (seats, floors, railings) and report deficiencies to your supervisors.
- Other related duties as required.
- Job Requirements**DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Must possess a passion for the arts.
- Experience working in a performing arts venue considered an asset.
- Strong instincts and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Charm, personality, an avid interest and personal investment in the arts.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:

- Availability is required primarily during evenings and Sunday afternoons, 2-3 shifts a week.
- COVID-19 specific measures, training and protocols are in place and under regular review to identify best practices and ensure Public Health measures are observed in full.
