Tollestrup Construction (2005) Inc. has been in operation since 1940 and we are looking to expand our team here in Southern Alberta. We are currently looking for a Paver Operator.

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate equipment, in this case a Paver. 102years experience operating a paver to construct roads is required.
- Perform asphalt finishing tasks to meet project specifications.
- Dig and prepare sites for construction activities, ensuring proper site management.
- Collaborate with team members to pave surfaces accurately and effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, utilizing strong mechanical knowledge.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in paving operation is preferred. 1-2 years. Experience operating a roller and skidsteer is an asset.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Experience working on roadway construction is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
