**Adamson Systems Engineering** is a manufacturer of high-performance audio products located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. Virtually all products and components are made in house in our state-of-the-art facility: from wooden boxes, drivers and rigging components to sophisticated power amps, immersive systems and other digital components.

As an experienced and persistent ERP Purchaser and an integral part of the ERP production team, you will streamline the purchasing process through analyzing the current external/internal lead times and will be responsible for the planning, scheduling and purchasing of inventory using ERP to create and maintain a consistent level of availability. This challenging role in a complex lean-manufacturing environment will create and communicate maximal visibility on inventory levels/ turns and material usage/yields.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Resolve material shortages quickly in order of priority
- Maintain and adjust ERP priority of purchase orders against inventory to ensure smooth production flow
- Compare invoices against purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered and billing accuracy.
- Interact and negotiate assertively with suppliers.
- Assist in the development of ERP to enhance Production and Purchasing process flow.
- Ensure customer and company needs are aligned.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Participate in inventory maintenance and reconciliation as it pertains to production scheduling.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- College or University degree/diploma in a related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an ERP Manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 1 year in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and scheduling (Optimizing manufacturing sequences) with ERP Software
- Proven experience with negotiating and closing supplier contracts
- Experience with Software systems such as ECI M1, SAP, MS Dynamics GP, Netsuite, Epicor, SAGE or any other recognized ERP system
- Advanced MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software.
- Experience working in a Lean manufacturing or other similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
