We are currently hiring an Senior Production Scheduler . This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production flow by managing the company’s ERP system, developing and maintaining production schedules, and coordinating shop floor activities. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, material requirements, and real-time problem-solving to meet delivery targets and optimize resource utilization. Production Scheduling Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with customer orders and delivery commitments. Balance production workloads based on capacity, lead times, and priority orders. Adjust schedules proactively in response to changes in demand, equipment downtime, or material availability. Maintain, update, and optimize ERP system data for production, inventory, and materials management. Ensure accuracy of bills of materials (BOMs), routings, work orders, and inventory records. Generate production, inventory, and performance reports from the ERP system for management review. Shop Floor Planning & Coordination Translate production schedules into actionable shop floor plans, ensuring smooth material flow and resource allocation. Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and defects. Work closely with purchasing department to ensure timely material availability. Liaise with engineering for product changes and process improvements. Partner with logistics/shipping to align production completion with delivery schedules. Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. ~5+ years of experience in production planning, ERP administration, or manufacturing scheduling. ~ M1, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar). Technical Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and material flow. Proficiency in Excel and ERP reporting tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is an asset.
