In this role, you will be the storyteller that captures the impact of BIS Safety Software—while demonstrating how artificial intelligence can be thoughtfully and strategically integrated into our writing workflows. You will craft compelling content using a blend of human insight and AI-assisted tools, helping position BIS as a thought leader and innovator in both safety software and modern content creation. You should have a keen eye for identifying timely, engaging topics and be skilled in prompting AI to generate tailored, high-quality content that aligns with our voice. In addition to producing great content, we value writers who can share measurable results showing how their content—and the use of AI—has helped achieve marketing or business goals.

This is an** in-person**role based in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

**What You'll Do**:

- ** Craft high-quality, long-form and short-form content** including trend reports, articles, e-books, blog posts, and tip lists that drive engagement and thought leadership.
- ** Use AI tools** to brainstorm, generate, and refine content ensuring everything aligns with our brand voice and quality standards.
- ** Develop and test effective AI prompts** to produce factual, cited, brand-aligned, and impactful content.
- ** Track content performance** and clearly communicate how your writing and the use of AI has supported BIS’s brand visibility, lead generation, or campaign success.
- ** Identify fresh, timely content ideas** that resonate with our target audience and support marketing goals.
- ** Edit and proofread content** to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with our tone and standards.
- ** Occasionally interview BIS clients** to uncover meaningful insights and transform them into compelling customer stories, case studies, and spotlights
- ** Collaborate with marketing team members** to support campaigns, social media initiatives, and editorial planning.
- ** Maintain and organize content calendars**, ensuring deadlines are met and launches go smoothly.
- ** Stay current with AI writing trends** and technologies, and integrate new tools and approaches where appropriate.

**Who You Are**:

- ** Have hands-on experience with WordPress**, including setup, management, front-end customization, back-end troubleshooting, and plugin configuration.
- ** Have a keen eye for design and usability**, and naturally notice how layout, formatting, and structure impact the user experience.
- ** Have a strong sense for what makes content engaging**, backed by some training or experience in marketing writing, branding, or communications.
- ** Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments**, and bring strong communication skills to team projects and cross-functional work.
- ** Are a self-starter** who takes initiative, identifies opportunities, and enjoys solving problems without waiting for instructions.
- ** Welcome feedback** and use it as a tool for personal and professional growth.
- ** Are quick to adopt new technologies and tools**, driving AI and other automation opportunities to enhance modern marketing workflows.
- ** Communicate clearly and confidently**, both in writing and in conversation, across a range of audiences.
- ** Have experience supporting events**, including planning logistics, managing registrations, and helping with promotion for both virtual and in-person formats.

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- Experience in B2B SaaS or safety‑industry content
- Familiarity with marketing analytics dashboards (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.)
- Thought leadership content experience—white papers, industry reports, etc.

Salary ranges are based on experience, reflecting the unique skillset each individual brings to the role.
