The Opportunity:

- You’ll be part of our growing Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Team, using your skills as an Air Quality Engineer or Scientist to complete assessments and design major Infrastructure projects in Ontario and beyond This role offers a variety of work, blended between field and office time performing projects related to proposal pursuit, reporting, design, monitoring, and client development. The projects you will support will be some of the most complex and innovative ones for our Earth & Environmental Team. _

A day in the life:

- _You'll be using your expertise to develop and manage air quality projects _
- _Prepare background review, scientific and engineering calculations (emission estimates), and design, report writing, field work and/or field work supervision, data collection/analysis and design to support air quality impact studies _
- _Lead, supervise, mentor, and support junior air quality scientists, and engineers _
- _You’ll be managing relationships with internal and external clients as you complete the projects and ensure that their needs are understood and met, providing your guidance and expertise; _
- _You’ll have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with our leading technical experts in the fields of air quality engineering and sciences _
- _You’ll have the ability to innovate and solve technical challenges _
- _You’ll be part of a supportive teams with opportunities to grow _

What you’ll bring to WSP:

- _Post-secondary education and 1 to 3 years experience in, mechanical, environmental, chemical, civil and or, environmental sciences, meteorology, atmospheric chemistry or similar technical field (i.e. physics or mathematics) _
- _Membership or eligibility for membership with the PEO is a definite asset; _
- _Your experience completing air quality assessment, modelling and supporting emissions summary and dispersion modelling reports or land use compatibility reports projects, proposals, and client development ; _
- _You’ve got access to a vehicle, a clean Driver’s Abstract, and you know your way around the MS Office suite of products; _
