**About the Role**:
As a Property Claims Adjuster at The Greenspan Co./Adjusters International, you will serve as the client’s advocate throughout every step of the adjustment process, playing a crucial role in helping them rebuild their lives after devastating events. You are a pro collaborator and can work seamlessly with teams across the organization to successfully settle claims. (You are not expected to do estimating or inventory but familiarity with the process is a must). You bring expertise in generating estimates by leveraging various methods to create accurate assessments. You are detail-obsessed and excel at identifying and resolving discrepancies through data analysis and detailed reporting, always striving to secure client satisfaction. You understand that the technical aspect (optimal settlements) is as important as the emotional aspect (keeping families together; employee and customer retention).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide clients with a voice in the adjustment of their damage claims.
- Mentor, lead, and collaborate with the adjusting team, sales, and other departments to settle claims.
- Work with the estimating team to generate Xactimate estimates using onsite inspections, Matterports, interviews, proposals, blueprints, specifications, and/or online resources.
- Collect on-site documentation of damage with photos, videos, and 3d scanning technology.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies through data analysis and publication of detailed reports.
- Proactively strive for client satisfaction throughout the entire claims process.
- Communicate with insurance companies in a professional, educated, and timely fashion to reach successful claims results.
- Regularly travel to claim sites in a timely manner.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
**Qualifications**:

- Driver’s license required
- Ability and willingness to travel on short notice
- Extensive experience adjusting fire damage claims
- Experience adjusting claims in excess of $200,000 in damage
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Strong technical, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong computer literacy acumen - working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Xactimate & Claims Wizard a bonus
- Proactive approach to resolving problems

**Extra Credit**:

- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Previous Adjuster license or direct employment with an insurance company is a plus

**Physical Requirements**:

- A mixture of remote and in-field work
- At a loss site, working inside and outside of property. You will be expected to work in and around physical structures including climbing on ladders and roofs, crawling in floor spaces, and/or similar tasks.
- Work conditions may be severe based on weather and severity of damage/loss.
- You may be required to wear protective gear for your safety.
