Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing in guest rooms as well as public areas inside and outside when needed.
- Ensure all rooms are clean, cared for and inspected according to standards daily.
- Protect and maintain equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies for all staff to use.
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances to ensure rooms are always in working condition.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience and to find solutions.fixes to everyday situations.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper, preferable in the hotel industry.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Working quickly without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of English language.
- Must be reliable, punctual and flexible with work days and hours.
- Job entails some heavy lifting up to maybe 40 lbs, standing and bending.
- Preferable one year experience in a supervisory position in a branded hotel
This is a working position and there will be some days that it would just be cleaning of guest rooms.
Must be able to work weekends, public holidays.
Be able to supervise a staff of at least 6 persons when supervising.
**Benefits**:
Extended health with a minimum of 20 hours worked after 3 months probation.

**Salary**: $16.50-$19.00 per hour

Frequent hand washing, masking, gloves are highly suggested. Sanitizing and disinfecting is used in all rooms.
