This position provides CAMP and FLIGHTS to Kearl Site.
**Job Overview**
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Fuel & Lube Technicians work long hours outside in all weather conditions. The incumbent shall demonstrate safe operation of assigned equipment, able to read, comprehend and comply with site-specific safety rules, maintenance procedures, training manuals, warning tags, traffic signs and manuals.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conducts walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazards Assessments
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment and facilities
- Safely fuel and service heavy equipment as required and directed
- Transport materials, tools and equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment.
- Perform repetitive tasks while ensuring to maintain consistency according to client procedures.
- Operate the fuel/service trucks safely and efficiently
- Assist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubes, oils and other supplies
- Coordinates equipment service activities efficiently and effectively
- May perform other related duties as assigned.
**Working Conditions**
- **Rotation**: 14on 14off, rotating day and night shift working 12 hours per day
- Camp available with fly-in from Calgary or Edmonton and busing from Fort McMurray
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more; prolonged standing, walking, lifting, squatting and bending
- Able to perform work in adverse weather conditions, including hot, cold and inclement weather
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or post-secondary education
- A valid driver's license with a 3-year driver's abstract required
- Valid tickets such as; Common Safety Orientation (CSO), First Aid and WHMIS
- Atleast 1-2 years experience in Fuel and Lube, including; fuel mod, combo truck, and willingness to do groundwork is required
- Open pit mining experience or previous experience in oil and construction sites required
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or when not double vaccinated individual must agree to site testing requirements provided test every 72 hours while at Site
- Ability to work alone with mínimal supervision or as part of a team
- Experience with any of the following; Dozer, Excavator, Loader and articulating truck will be an asset
