In this role the Irrigation Service Technician will be responsible for numerous jobs relating specifically to commercial, multi-family, residential landscape irrigation. Successful Irrigation Techs will work along side the Irrigation Foreman to complete irrigation start-ups/blow outs, year round maintenance and new construction installations. In addition, Irrigation Technicians are responsible for:

- Conduct system inspections and performance optimization activities.
- Identify and resolve issues related to water usage and irrigation systems.
- Plan and execute upgrades or modifications to existing systems.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely and successful project completion.

**Deliverable 1** _- _Work 50-60 hours per week during spring and summer months
- Display hard work throughout the shifts
- Be flexible with travel to sites across southern and central Alberta
- Be a team player with the group to ensure productive hours are achieved
- Be punctual and ready to work

**Deliverable 2** _- _Keep trailers, equipment and tools maintained to company standard
- Responsible for day-to-day site cleaning. All site trailers are to be organized and cleaned to ensure productivity for all employees
- Follow SOPs for equipment maintenance to keep machines in optimal working conditions. (ie, greasing, filter checks, etc.)
- Ensure used tools are returned to their proper trailer at the end of day.

**Deliverable 3**:

- Contribute to projects staying on time and budget
- Be a team player. Work with the group to achieve high standards of quality for all projects straight to final completion
- Ask questions. Demonstrate a willingness to grow in the position and with the company.
- Embrace the work. All tasks, regardless of how technical, are all vital to the completion of a project and the budget.

**Deliverable 4**:

- Contribute to an overall team satisfaction rating of 80%.
- Number based of quarterly review scores from site foreman, operation managers, and ownership

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Knowledge of irrigation systems for both residential and commercial properties
- Min Class 5 drivers licence
- First Aid certification
- Equipment operating experience with Skid Steer, Mini Ex, Excavator, and Dozer is an asset
- Ability to read site plans
- Hard working
- Committed
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour days
- Team Player
- Ability to take direction

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Irrigation maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
