**Responsibilities**
- All staffs must be up to date with required immunizations
- Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and a clear 2 Step TB Test will be needed once offered a position
- All staffs working with children are required to have a valid standard first aid certificate and Child Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) including infant and child
- Ensures all our programs provide quality care, service and support to our children and families
- To have a working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act. Understand and comply with provincial, municipal, and our daycare programs and policies
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Maintain qualifications and certifications as required by HarmonyHills standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Cleans and sanitizes childcare spaces, especially toys, equipment, and other surfaces
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Summury**

**Position Overview**
Qualifications include but are not limited to:

- ECA works with all age groups
- ECE 1 Year Certificate required
- Experience working in a classroom setting, preferably in early childhood education
- Ability to work within a team and be a multi-player to deal with a variety of services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff and parents
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively
- Assist RECE or ECE to improve programs and quality of care
- Able to work all shifts between 7 am to 6pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.71 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
