**Job Description**:
AECOM is searching for a Field Services Lead for a full-time position based in our Kitchener, ON office supporting projects/teams across southwestern Ontario.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Managing short-term and long-term field monitoring investigations including (but not limited to) streamflow monitoring, water and soils sampling, bathymetric and topographic surveying, and Site assessments/inspections safely and effectively.
- Compiling data collection and organizing field information, including downloading and transmitting data, gathering photographs, videos, and other required information according to set standards.
- Able to thoroughly document that site conditions and work is completed, and submit required reports.
- Assist with the installation and perform operational maintenance and troubleshooting of various equipment within sanitary sewers and other locations.
- Coordinate with clients (internally and externally) and handle any complaints from the public or other stakeholders onsite positively and respectfully.
- Ensure a clean, organize, secure, and keep monitoring equipment in good working condition own tools and equipment.
- Assist field staff as needed with the work listed above.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- 6+ years of experience in the Civil Engineering field performing field monitoring investigation (previous consulting engineering experience is considered an asset)
- Proficient with the methodologies to perform field monitoring programs such as surface water/groundwater monitoring equipment, obtaining water and soil samples, etc. and provide sufficient direction to field staff
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS experience, standard Microsoft Office and communication software such as Outlook and Teams
- OACETT Certification (C.Tech or C.E.T.)
- Can perform work according to changing work schedules, weather conditions, and work locations (Southern/Eastern Ontario).
- Can carry necessary equipment to and from vehicle to warehouse storage area and short distances to worksites
- Has a valid G category license

- Experience and good aptitude working with tools, gadgets, and equipment are a plus
- Surveying experience and working knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD software is a plus
