**1 ‑ Part Time (.4) ‑ Dietary Aide**

**Nutrition and Food Services**

This position will involve working the day, evening, weekend shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a guarantee.

Under the direct supervision of the Food Services Supervisor, performs dietary duties as assigned. Assignment of

responsibilities may rotate within the schedule, determined by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Minimum completion of Grade Ten
- Ontario Food Handler Training Certificate, current within the last 5 years is required
- Knowledge of HACCP is an asset
- One year experience working in a large quantity kitchen would be an asset
- Knowledge of computer software, large quantity production equipment such as: stoves, ovens, grills, mixers,

blenders, peelers, vegetable chopper/dicer, meat slicer, mincer, microwave ovens, cash register
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to communicate effectively (tasks related to skill ‑ reading of work schedules, cleaning lists, and

communicating with fellow employees)

Salary Range: $25.629 to 25.984
