Technical Field Site Manager

We are seeking a **hands-on Technical Field Site Manager** to lead the installation of premium thermally broken aluminum window and door systems. In this role, you will combine field leadership, project management, technical expertise, and client-facing professionalism to ensure every installation meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. You will play a critical role in mentoring your team, delivering exceptional client experiences, and driving project success from planning through completion.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead, supervise, and mentor installation and service crews, promoting best practices, safety, and workmanship excellence.
- Actively participate in installations to maintain hands-on quality oversight and ensure meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage projects from planning through execution, including schedules, budgets, resources, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Serve as the on-site technical authority, interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring expectations are managed and exceptional service is delivered.
- Identify and resolve on-site challenges, develop solutions, and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
- Oversee warranty service, troubleshooting, and post-installation support, ensuring client satisfaction.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Certified Journeyman Glazier (Red Seal or provincial equivalent) with extensive hands-on field experience.
- Proven experience in field supervision, project coordination, and managing installations and service work.
- Strong technical knowledge of glazing systems, thermally broken aluminum products, building codes, and construction safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, including client-facing professionalism.
- Comfortable working at heights and handling heavy materials and equipment while maintaining a hands-on presence.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract and willingness to travel for out-of-town projects and extended hours as needed.
