Field Quality Control Technician

Petro-Line is involved in the construction, maintenance, and upgrading of pipelines and facilities in the oil and gas industry. Through our dedicated and knowledgeable management and personnel we have completed a vast number of projects including many which required our specialty services and planning. Our goal is to complete projects alongside our clients safely, effectively, and with little or no impact in the environment.

Starting Wage: $26/hour

Field Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:

- Demonstrates a commitment to a safe work environment
- Oversee the installation of the PETROSLEEVE pipeline repair
- Provide leadership and direction to repair crew
- Professionally communicate with customer representatives
- Understand pipeline anomalies and failure mechanisms, and their relationships with repairs
- Monitor and evaluate parameters to ensure that procedure specifications are met
- Interpret field data to complete reports
- May perform other related duties as assigned

Field Quality Control Technician Qualifications:

- CSTS 09, Frist Aid, H2S, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space are an asset
- Valid class 5 drivers license with GDL restrictions removed
- Engineering Technology Diploma required as a minimum
- Experience in pipeline integrity is an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Must be willing to travel regularly overnight
- Must be available for work 7 days a week as required
- Must be willing to work in variable weather conditions
- Must be able to perform tasks that require moderate lifting
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug testing
