**Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems, including Dentrix.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Epic and electronic medical records systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office setting is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and scheduling.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
