**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Support chefs during service by cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Contribute to menu planning by providing input based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

**Skills**
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership within a kitchen environment.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques, with a strong understanding of cooking methods.
- Knowledge of food service operations, ensuring high standards of hospitality are met.
- Team management skills to foster collaboration among kitchen staff.
- Previous restaurant management or kitchen experience preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members and other departments.
- A passion for the culinary arts, showcasing creativity in dish presentation and flavor combinations.
