Accounts Payable Clerk

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Payroll and Human Resources, to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Utilize accounting software to manage accounts payable tasks efficiently.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors through effective communication and problem resolution.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
