Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to spearhead our sales efforts and expand our market presence in a defined territory.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Strategy Development**: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed territory sales targets, aligning with overall company goals.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- **Market Research and Analysis**: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, anticipate industry trends, and stay ahead of the competition.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored equipment solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
- **Sales Presentations and Proposals**: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value of XCMG products and services.
- **Collaboration with Marketing**: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales initiatives and drive brand awareness.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure consistent progress towards sales targets.
- **Territory Management**: Organize and manage the designated territory to provide comprehensive sales coverage, utilizing tools such as territory management software and daily planners.
- **Lead Generation and Follow-Up**: Pursue all sales leads provided through various sources, including advertising, telemarketing, job listings, customer references, and other channels.
- **New Account Development**: Actively seek out and develop new accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring continuous growth of the customer base.
- **Site Visits and Jobsite Coverage**: Visit key office contacts and job sites regularly to maintain a strong presence, cover subcontractors and general contractors, and address any on-site challenges.
- **Product Selection and Technical Support**: Assist customers with product selections, conduct take-offs, prepare quotations and tenders, issue submittals, and interpret schedules, construction drawings, and specifications.
- **Industry Knowledge and Compliance**: Stay informed about industry and local codes, regulations, and market trends to ensure compliance and leverage opportunities. Keep up with competitors' product offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- **Customer Events and Factory Visits**: Assist with customer events, such as open houses, sporting events, and lunches. Strategically plan and accompany customers on factory visits to build stronger relationships and showcase product capabilities.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other divisions to identify and maximize cross-functional sales opportunities, ensuring a cohesive approach to business development.
- **End-to-End Sales Cycle Management**: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry through to the end of the warranty period, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to travel within the designated territory as required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in utilizing CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships and sales processes.
- Ability to interpret construction schedules, drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
