Network and Security Administrator

**Role Description**:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and reliability.
- Configure and manage Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls to establish secure networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues proactively.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from cyber threats.
- Manage Juniper and Fortinet network devices for optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network security solutions.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to resolve network and security incidents.10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network and security administration.
**Experience (Years): 6-8**
**Essential Skills**:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Network & Security Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, firewalls, and routers.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Juniper and Fortinet network devices.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining Cisco Netscaler for load balancing.
- Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Certification in network and security technologies (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, Fortinet NSE) is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
