Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. is seeking 1 permanent full-time, experienced _**QUALITY / PRE-MACHINING INSPECTOR **_to join our team
- Experience in a Weld Fabrication & CNC environment is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Final Inspecting processes of large Weld & Machined castings
- Auditing, inspecting, and monitoring quality requirements according to customer specifications.
- Perform routine quality Inspections examinations including dimensional checks of the product as per Drawing / Print
- Ensuring that product meets or exceeds internal and customer requirements
- Perform full manual inspection using the following tools. **Must have full experience in using the following hand tools**: Bore Gauges, Vernier's, Micrometers, Tape measures. Must be able to use and read all gauges.
- Fast paced environment & multitasking a must.
- Maintain Quality Inspection records. Must have knowledge of Excel, Word.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specification
- Strong initiative and drive to work independently and/or as a team to deliver results.
- Demonstrates positive, can-do attitude with great communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning & Improvement.
- Able to perform quality Inspection checks on all plant operations, and approve materials as required.
- Must be computer literate and have an engineering background.
- Work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-focused environment. Overtime as required.

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
