**We are seeking a motivated, energetic, customer-focused Team Lead for the Night shift (10pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Friday) at our new Vaughan Distribution Centre.**

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Ensure the smooth running of the warehouse. Address shipping, product location, employee task and equipment questions
- Monitor and manage picking queue
- Eyeball orders prior to delivery for proper quantity, product and packaging
- Ability to lead a team of Pickers, maximizing their effectiveness each shift
- Coordinate picking to ensure orders are picked in the right sequence to facilitate loading the trucks in the proper sequence for departing
- Respond to customer calls regarding the status of their orders (as required); determining the issues, investigating and taking appropriate action to maintain positive customer relations
- Ensure trackers from sales staff have been addressed
- Respond to internal questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Provide feedback on picking and resource planning
- Meet daily with supervisors and other lead hands on asset utilization and deployment, as well as hand off to next shift
- Suggest changes in process, training and staffing requirements
- Other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 3 years previous order picking/warehouse experience. Plumbing or HVAC industry experience and product knowledge a definite asset
- 1-2 years leadership experience
- Ability to operate material handing equipment. Tow motor certification required for this position
- Ability to work overtime as required to complete daily tasks or to assist the department with a heavy workload
- Able to use a computerized order and inventory system
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain paperwork
- Able to read and write in English and count accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Able to make decisions, meet daily deadlines with the flexibility to change tasks quickly, when necessary, in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service and an ability to work in a team environment leading a team of Pickers, maximizing their effectiveness on the required shift
- Physically agile in order to lift, carry and move large and awkward items
