Position: Financial Analyst - FP&A

Location: Montreal, QC - Onsite

Duration: 10 months Contract

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis for a specific business unit, division or product. Supports the business by providing financial reporting and analysis to aid business management and gives guidance and advice on accounting issues and the financial implications of business trends.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics from a reputable university*
- Excellent Excel skills (including pivot tables, macros and most common Excel functions),
- Fluency in MS PowerPoint and ability to present data in an organized visual manner to promote understanding
- Autonomous and capable to work in a diverse team in the context of strict deadlines and in an international environment.
- 1 to 5 years of FP&A as an asset, preferably within Financial Services Industries.
- Very advanced spoken and written English level mandatory
- Passion and ability to optimize the process.
- Must have experience with reviewing controls, P&L critique and Balance Sheet reporting and reconciliations.*
- Must have prior experience with managing the controlling needs with respect to risk within the firm by ensuring that adequate controls, risk reporting and analysis are in place.*
- SQL, and Power BI knowledge an assets.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
