- **Responsibilities**:
- leading various stations from a performance and people standpoint:
- ensuring targets are met while coaching and training your team to optimise and monitor performance.
- coordinate with sales development for the ramp up, introduction and launch of new markets.
- collaborate and drive new station openings for your territory.
- have a role to play to ensure workforce planning and its execution runs smoothly (working in close collaboration with the HR team).
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience and expertise in the last mile sector
- Assertiveness with a human touch: able to influence others
- Strong communication skills and highly collaborative
- Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and prioritization
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Ability and willingness to travel on a regular and frequent basis
- Lead and encourage a culture where health and safety is a priority. Provide leadership and support for health and safety initiatives on the site.
- Take overall responsibility for the proper functioning of the health and safety committee. Participate directly in committee meetings and provide support to resolve issues raised by the committee.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (transportation, operations management, supply chain, etc.) will be considered an asset
