**The impact you will have**:
We are looking for a big-thinking, fast-moving, detail-minded **Web Content Manager** to take a lead role in making our website simpler, more intuitive and perform better. This role reports to our head of communications and portfolio marketing
This opportunity is hybrid, with some in-office work (10-20%) in Toronto.
**What you will do**:
- As Web Content Manager, your job will be to make information about our company, capabilities, and value accessible, easy to understand, and easy to find. Your first big task will be leading a project to update and optimize our web content based on a new information architecture. Reporting to the head of communications and portfolio marketing and working with colleagues in portfolio marketing, digital, demand generation, and design, you will lead:
- Identifying and prioritizing pages for updates and deletion, along with creating net new pages
- Creating new page wireframes to drive intended actions (e.g., further exploration, conversion)
- Establishing an SEO strategy and framework
- Coordinating internal and agency resources to complete the project on-time and on-spec
- Outside this project, your always-on responsibilities will be to:
- Serve as the editor-in-chief of our homepage, establishing an update cadence in collaboration with Portfolio Marketing and Demand Generation
- Establishing and coordinating web content reviews with stakeholders and contributors from different parts of the company
- Ensure a consistently excellent and on-brand experience in collaboration with Digital and Design
- Provide recommendations on content and layout updates consistent with industry trends
- Monitor, report on and optimize website performance
**What you bring to the table**:
- Demonstrated success in a similar role, in a similar context (e.g., technology consulting or professional services)
- Experience operating within an enterprise-grade CMS
- Thorough understanding of SEO best practices and experience implementing them
- Strong, detail-oriented writer with experience writing for web and understanding writing and editing consistent with a brand’s voice and tone
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and persuasion skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks
- 7-9 years’ relevant and progressively senior experience
- Post-secondary education in a marketing, business or writing discipline or equivalent experience
