Bellamere Winery & Event Centre is looking for part-time Banquet Servers seasonally and year round.

**_The Role_**

As a Banquet Server at Bellamere, your primary responsibility is to help us ensure our weddings and events go off without a hitch This means you:

- Act as a welcoming and gracious host to all guests and team members
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and team members
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to Bellamere’s guidelines and specifications
- Clear/clean tables according to Bellamere’s guidelines and specifications
- Support with preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure all guests are served promptly and efficiently
- Be familiar with the menu, food and plating for the assigned function, including guest allergies
- Respond quickly to guest problems, complaints or accidents, communicating with the Banquet Captains as needed
- Work according to all of Bellamere’s health and safety standards
- Support with other duties as may be required

**_What you bring to the table_**
- Availability to work mid-week, weekends, evenings and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from Bellamere
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Smart Serve Certification
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching and mentorship
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all staff
- Able to work in a predominately standing position for long periods of time
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food or dishes when necessary
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes following Bellamere’s uniform policies
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a bonus, but not required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- On call
- Weekend availability
