Hardware Installer

Typical work hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, but must also be flexible to meet our customer’s demands. Some overtime will occasionally be required.
The following is a list of some of the job duties and requirements:
Job Duties
- Install and service commercial walk-through steel doors and frames, access control systems, architectural hardware and commercial wood doors. Repair, troubleshoot, and retrofit existing openings and products.
- Understand electrical schematics and know how to design and install low voltage systems for access control. Evaluate and thoroughly document on site verification. Be responsible for and coordinate vehicle and tool upkeep with company mechanic. Load products as required. Capable of technical support and troubleshooting electrified hardware for access control. Occasionally perform on site welding and bondo work on steel frames. Comply with all company occupational health and safety policies.
Job Requirements/Skills
- Basic experience needed to install doors and door hardware.
- Trouble shooting ability to identify issues, and constraints.
- Work well within a team environment.
- Forklift is an asset.
- Hardware Knowledge is an asset.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
