UCSH is looking for a full time **Installer** position. This position requires to travel within BC lower mainland (Vancouver, Burnaby, New West, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam).
**WHAT’S THE JOB ABOUT?**
Reporting to the Installations Service Manager, the Installer position is responsible for onsite service that includes door hardware installation, troubleshooting and installing automatic door operators.
Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:
- Install and service metal doors and frames, access control systems, architectural hardware and commercial wood doors. Repair, troubleshoot, and retrofit existing openings and products
- Understand electrical schematics and know how to design and install low voltage systems for access control
- Troubleshoot electrified hardware for access control
- Provide technical support to customers
- Evaluate and verify documents on the job sites
- Load/move products as required.
- Comply with all company occupational health and safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned
**WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS**:
- Minimum high school diploma or 2 - 3 years of experience working in the construction environment
- Basic Electrical/Mechanical repairing skills are asset
- Knowledge of doors, frames and hardware is an asset
- Potential for flexible in working hours - available to work overtime
- Excellent physical condition and coordination to be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must have a valid driver license
- Strong communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
