Sanitation Crew Member

Under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Crew Member will perform all duties of production and sanitation in an efficient, effective and timely manner. The crew member will be responsible and accountable to the Sanitation Supervisor for ensuring that the Sanitation of the Plant is completed on a daily basis and to Mariposa Dairy’s standards. Food Safety and Handling is of the utmost importance. Flexibility of hours is essential for this job, depending on daily production targets. This position will clean designated areas of production and office areas using the HACCP guidelines.

**Please note that hours will vary based on the hours of production. Typical start times vary between 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Shifts run until finished (approximately 8 hours).** Shift premium applies to all hours worked between 4:00 pm and 6:00 am.

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Daily cleaning of Floors, Drains, Mixer, Portioner, Packline
- Follow HACCP procedures for all cleaning
- Rinse, foam, scrub and rinse all surfaces that the product touches in mixing room
- Daily wipe-down of packaging and Shipping/Receiving area
- Sweep and wash all floors
- Empty garbage cans, Recycling as required
- Other duties, as assigned

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**
- Flexibility of hours when necessary
- Some work on statutory holidays and/or weekends
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ability to follow SOP and complete forms accurately
