Chilliwack, Canada Thode Knife and Saw Ltd. Full time

Thode Knife and Saw Ltd, supplier of Sawblades and Saw-filing equipment to the sawmilling industry in Canada, require an enthusiastic manager to take charge and progress future development of our established and growing business based in Chilliwack BC.

The position requirements include:

- Responsibility for the manufacturing site situated in Chilliwack.
- Co-ordination of orders received with production requirements.
- Production output to meet targeted requirements.
- Communication with customers and the sales team in relation to orders and sales targets.
- Ensuring maintenance of all plant and machinery.
- Ensuring all required resources are available to enable efficient production on a daily basis including staff, materials and equipment.
- Staff training and Health and safety

The successful applicant should possess the following attributes:

- An outgoing personality to gain good relationships.
- Experience and knowledge in the timber processing industry.
- Saw filing knowledge, experience and/or qualifications.
- Good computer skills.

Essential skills required include:

- Good written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Experience in managing staff and production.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of efficient productivity methods including production planning.
- An understanding of Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.

Remuneration will depend upon knowledge, qualifications and skills of the successful applicant.

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
