**qualifications**
- Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant program or the equivalent in related experience
- Medical Terminology Certificate and must be proficient in Diagnostic Imaging terminology
- A minimum of one year Community Wide Scheduling (CWS) experience.
- High degree of accuracy in keyboarding skills with minimum 45 wpm.
- One year experience of computers and computer programs including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Meditech.
- Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communications, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of office equipment (telephone, fax, photocopiers).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to respect the confidentially of personnel and patient information.
- Demonstrated professional attitude while interacting with the public, patients, employees and medical staff.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays.
- Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision o Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
