Hourly Wage Range: $17~$18

Main Job Duties:

- Use various cooking techniques to prepare individual dishes and foods
- Assist sushi chef and senior cook to prepare orders.
- Collaborate kitchen team to manage orders and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- May supervise kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Job Requirements:

- Culinary experience is required, work experience at Japanese restaurant is highly preferred.
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Foodsafe certificate is preferred.
- Attention to details
- Multitasking and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Physically demand: Ability to stand for long periods, and lift heavy pots or kitchen equipment.
- May offer assistant cook if with less direct experience.
