**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for assisting in the set up, tear down and refresh of banquet function rooms, including tables, chairs, stages, food stations and other objects related to meetings, events, and brand standards
- Ensure accuracy of event rooms according to Banquet Event Orders
- Responsible for the smooth service of banquet functions, including cleaning and maintenance with the assistance of other service personnel
- Coordinate the receiving and delivery of food & beverage and guest items (i.e. banners, messages, client boxes etc.) to functions with the Culinary team & other banquet team members
- Provide attentive and professional service to guests and clients as required
- Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years previous experience in a banquet catering environment is a definite asset.
- **Ability to work minimum two days a week between Monday to Sunday, including early mornings, mid-day, evenings, late nights, weekends and stat holidays. Shifts are dependent on catering volumes.**:

- Serving It Right Certificate and Food Safe Certificate required.
- Able to take initiative with good problem-solving skills.
- Can work effectively in a team as well as with mínimal supervision.
- Organization and working well under pressure is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (i.e. tables, chairs, chafing dishes) up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
- A team player with a polished presentation and demeanor.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.07-$18.55 per hour
