**Working Title**: QA/QC Inspector

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

Trafa Pharmaceutical Inc. is looking for a dedicated and experienced addition to our quality team. The role of the inspector includes testing, verifying, inspecting and sampling products to ensure that all quality parameters are met, and the product is within specification. The ideal inspector must have previous experience with GMP, in-process testing, and a strong focus on identifying deviations and errors.

**JOB DUTIES AND TASKS**

1. Work with the production and packaging teams to perform in-process testing
- Ensure all products being manufactured meet specifications
- Identify and report any errors that are encountered
- Once manufactured, perform physical and sensory tests on finished products
- Ensure all production and packaging operations are GMP and health & safety compliant

2. Prepare finished product COA’s and ensure documentation is correct and complete
- Provide clients with COA’s of finished products being produced
- Provide technical information as required to laboratories and clients
- Ensure that all documentation provided to clients and regulatory bodies is logged and up to date

3. Work with third-party labs and clients to test samples
- Retain samples of all finished products and raw materials
- Prepare samples to be sent out to laboratories and follow-up as needed
- Maintain and log all retained samples of finished products and raw ingredients

4. Other related duties and tasks as required
- Control and release material as needed to production & packaging operations
- Ensure bottling on the packaging line follows documentations with no deviations
- Work with the production and quality teams during audits and other regulatory queries to ensure completeness of all quality-related operations.
- Update and complete reports and/or checklists related to QA/QC

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCEED**
- BS/BA/MS in Chemistry/Biology/Life Science/Pharmaceutical Science
- 1+ of Quality experience in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry
- 2+ years experience in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in testing analytics is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
