**Job Summary**:
The Adjuster is responsible for all aspects of the processing of property insurance claims, including submission of the Proof of Loss, negotiation, and appraisal if necessary. The Adjuster will work closely with the insured and our estimating department and the insured to ensure that all claims are accurately documented in a timely manner and submitted in accordance with the Act & policy provisions.

**Essential Duties**:

- Review insurance policy coverages with insureds.
- Review estimates and schedules of loss with insureds prior to submission.
- Prepare Proof of Loss documents for submission.
- Negotiate first party property loss settlements.
- Prepare appraisal briefs when necessary.
- Attend appraisal hearings when necessary.
- Be available to our client to answer claim related questions.
- Facilitate the delivery of payments to our clients.

**Education & Experience**:Required Education: CIP and/or be able to obtain a valid Adjusters License in the Province of Ontario. A valid driver’s license is required. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a claims adjusting environment is preferred. Work from home and set your own schedule provided client service levels are maintained.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
