**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team at Micco Companies. This role is perfect for an HR professional who possesses a strong background in Human Resources and is ready to take on a strategic and influential position within our organization. As the primary point of contact, you will be instrumental in driving HR initiatives, supporting business objectives, and fostering a positive work environment across our diverse portfolio of companies.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational performance.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives to support business growth and improve HR processes.

Recruitment and Onboarding/Offboarding
- Process new hire paperwork and perform new hire orientations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Process employee exits including performing termination notifications and processing resignations.

Employee Relations and Engagement
- Strategic HR Leadership.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational performance.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.

Compensation and Benefits
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable offerings.
- Conduct salary reviews and provide recommendations based on market trends and internal equity.
- Address payroll-related issues and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Manage WCB claims and compliance.

HR Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment standards across all divisions.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Lead the development and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and documentation.

**Secondary Duties and Responsibilities**

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- 4+ years of experience in an HR role, with a focus on strategic HR management.
- Strong understanding of HR ethical standards and employment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/Payroll systems.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Working Environment**

**Work Schedule**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Regular office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
