**ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY**

We are in search of a warm and engaging professional **Server Assistant / Food Runner** responsible for welcoming and seating customers, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience, while working with serving staff to ensure the customer dining experience is clean, pleasant and efficient through clearing, sanitizing or resetting tables and ensuring that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and water glasses, as well as assisting with the timely delivery of meals, according to the standards of Bow & Bend.

Primary accountabilities include:

- Consistently providing the highest quality of service to our customers and staff alike.
- Quickly clean dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset tables with spotless service ware.
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
- Greet customers in a pleasant and courteous manner, seating them in a warm and friendly manner to begin their dining experience.
- Run meals to customers as required to assist serving staff.
- Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply, restocking condiments, etc.
- Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, tending to customer special requests and cross-training, to ensure total guest satisfaction. Endeavor to work in a unified and collaborative way
- one that fosters teamwork.
- Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.

**ABOUT YOU**
- A seasoned professional with hosting and/or bussing experience in a large, upscale Restaurant operation in a downtown city center.
- Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to safety.
- Able to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Valid ProServe certification.
- Excellent communicator who values teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically able to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, crouch, and lift or carry objects up to 20 pounds or more.
