**Position Type**: Full-Time (40 hours/week, flexible hours based on client needs)
**Wage Range**: $27.00-$30.75 per hour

**Position Summary**
The Outreach Support Worker, reporting to the Senior Program Manager, plays a pivotal role in supporting Foster families within the community. This role involves direct client engagement, case planning, and collaboration with funders and community resources to achieve positive outcomes for caregivers and youth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain professional, supportive relationships with caregivers aligned with program goals.
- Develop individualized, flexible, and proactive case plans in collaboration with caregivers, ensuring goals are clear, achievable, and measurable.
- Provide support in managing caregiver/child or teen conflict and crisis situations.
- Dedicate 50-70% of work hours to direct service, including weekly client interactions.
- Perform administrative duties such as initial assessments, progress reports, monthly statistics, critical incident reports, and discharge summaries.
- Facilitate integrated case planning and management.
- Collaborate with community resources and maintain strong working relationships with collateral agents.
**Qualifications**
- BCYW or BSW degree with 3+ years of family/foster support or child & youth care experience; or college diploma with 5+ years of experience in similar roles; or a combination of education and 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR, CPI, or MANDT.
- Access to a reliable vehicle, valid Class 5 BC driver’s license, and business insurance with $3,000,000 liability coverage.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in parent education, strategy development, mediation, counseling, advocacy, community networking, and life skills management.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in team settings and with community resources.

**Working Conditions**
