**Position Overview**:
As a Caribbean Cuisine Chef at Barnzy's Chill and Grill, you will be responsible for creating, preparing, and presenting a variety of traditional and contemporary Caribbean dishes. Your expertise will help us deliver an exceptional culinary experience, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, season, and cook Caribbean dishes with an emphasis on authenticity, creativity, and quality.
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation according to restaurant standards.
- Create new recipes and innovate menu offerings while staying true to Caribbean culinary traditions.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including managing kitchen staff, inventory, and food storage.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, helping to develop their culinary skills, especially in Caribbean cuisine.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with a focus on Caribbean cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Caribbean cooking methods and ingredients, including spices, marinades, and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing kitchen staff.
- Ability to create and innovate with Caribbean flavors and ingredients.
- Passion for food, creativity, and a dedication to quality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

- Cooking: 2 years (required)

- 100% (required)
