- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Assist with food service as needed, including serving food alongside beverages and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash accurately and responsibly, following all cash handling procedures.
- Stay updated on menu offerings, drink specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of bartending practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
