Based in our Edmonton facility, this position is responsible for the accurate shipping and packaging, of our finished products, while ensuring we meet customer needs.
- Weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
- Determines method of shipment; examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications and cost efficient solutions
- Accurately record shipping & receiving data
- Receive & unpack materials & supplies and store in appropriate areas
- Report damages & discrepancies to purchasing and accounting, reimbursement & record keeping purposes
- Complete shipping & receiving reports as required
- Provide inventory management support
- Arrange in plant movement of materials to meet production schedules and update ERP system; examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications; ensures material movement is tracked and monitored
- Operates appropriate machinery which may include tier lift truck, hand truck, and forklift to move, convey, hoist shipments to and from shipping & receiving platforms, attends mandatory training on the safe operation of the identified equipment

**Who we’re looking for?**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience with shipping and receiving
- Experience with MS Office and the ability to perform specific shipping and receiving exercises in relevant software
- License to operate a forklift
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
