Armtec Inc. has the following career opportunity in **BISHOP'S FALLS, NF**:
**YARD ASSOCIATE**

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Yard Associate ships and receives product, maintains stock and the yard in good condition. The Yard Associate operates forklifts, works with hand tools and various production equipment in order to provide support to our existing production team.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently move finished good and in-process material around site, in proper stock locations and on loading racks to be banded for shipment.
- Unloads material received, Coil, Beaver Stops, Guard Rail, Geotex materials, and other products
- Loads customer orders on loading rack and band for shipment or load directly on trucks, trailers.
- Ensures daily inspections and servicing of equipment is performed per Company Policy
- Maintains service log book and report any equipment issues to the Branch Manager
- Assists the Mill Operator, serves as back up for coverage
- Ensures all inventory placed in stock must be stored neatly and evenly; truck lanes must be free of obstructions.
- Take inventory of both finished goods and in-process material as required.
- Keeps dunnage in neat pile in designated area.
- Picks up debris and scrap and put in designated locations.
- Cut bevels, pallet pipe, roll couplers, cut trap and arch pipe, as needed.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certified, or ability to obtain certification
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Superior work ethic and team focused
- Basic math skills, working knowledge of metric measurements
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand work instructions and complete reports
- Self-starter, working independently and with mínimal supervision
- Physically fit; able to stand for extended periods of time and above average manual dexterity
