**About the Role**
We’re looking for a **reliable, community-minded Route Operator** to join our team and help bring fresh, healthy food to people who need it most. You’ll be the driver and face of our mobile grocery store—setting up markets, connecting with community members, and helping run a smooth operation from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive the Fresh Routes mobile market along scheduled community routes
- Load and unload inventory (boxes up to 50 lbs), set up and take down markets
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock tracking
- Deliver excellent customer service and build trust with community members
- Supervise and support volunteers during markets
- Troubleshoot issues with the vehicle, route, or setup as needed
- Represent Fresh Routes with professionalism and warmth

**We’re Looking For**
- **At least 3 years of commercial driving experience**:

- A clean Class 5 Alberta driver’s license (25+ years old, insurance requirement)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a people-first mindset
- Comfort with physical work (lifting, bending, standing)
- A **solution-oriented attitude** and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Someone who is **purpose-driven** and aligned with our mission of food justice
- Availability for flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

**Nice to Have**
- Experience working with underserved or marginalized communities
- Experience supervising volunteers or working in community-based settings

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
