**About the Role**
We're looking for a **Route Operator** who is passionate about food access, community connection, and making a difference. You’ll be the friendly face and driver of our Mobile Grocery Store, helping bring fresh fruits, vegetables, and grocery items to neighbourhoods that need them most. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys engaging with people, and wants to be part of a meaningful movement for food justice.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive the Fresh Routes mobile grocery store along scheduled routes.
- Load, unload, and set up mobile markets at each stop.
- Restock inventory and manage inventory tracking systems.
- Build strong relationships with community members, partners, and volunteers.
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Supervise and support volunteers during market set-ups and sales.

**What We’re Looking For**
- A passion for food access, community building, and social impact.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized communities.
- Friendly and engaging—someone who loves connecting with people.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and great follow-through.
- Comfortable with physical work (standing for long hours, lifting up to 40 lbs).
- Great customer service mindset and a love for helping others.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 25+ years old
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Available for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Able to safely lift up to 40 lbs

**Start Date**:Immediately
