We are looking for a talented **Bilingual Content Journalist** to join our team In this role you will be responsible for creating compelling content across the Ottawa - Gatineau region that resonates with our audience and drives community engagement across all platforms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop engaging, relevant, and high-quality content for various platforms including websites, blogs, and social media platforms. This includes writing articles, creating videos and designing infographics.
- Familiarizing themselves with the organization’s brand and each dealership to provide the most accurate information.
- Establish a consistent brand voice and tone across all content ensuring it aligns with the company values and resonates with the target audience.
- Write about car models and engine design, new automotive products on the market, auto production, vehicle comparison, business news, and other trends and events in the industry and city.
- Review and edit content for grammar, and adhere to the brand guidelines, ensuring all published materials are error free.
- Posting all content in a timely manner
- Attend community events (in-person and online) as a Mark Motors group representative. Photograph and interview guest/employees during these event
- Identify opportunities to repurpose existing content info into different formats or new platforms to extend life span and reach

**Qualifications**
- A diploma or degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Business or Communications
- Photography background
- Portfolio of written work - past articles, blog post and social media post.
- Knowledge of digital marketing communications
- Experience interviewing/ public speaking
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract

**Job type**

Full time Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm. Ability to work evenings and or weekends when required. The role does require you to be in the office.

**Location**

458 Montreal Road at Audi Ottawa Corporate Office.
