**Job Description**:
As a Firewood labourer at Timber Ridge Firewood, you will be responsible for efficiently bagging firewood products and ensuring they meet our quality standards. Your hard work, positive attitude, and ability to collaborate in a team environment will be essential in maintaining the productivity and effectiveness of our operations. You will have the opportunity to be trained on forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, loaders, chainsaws, firewood processors, and get trained on various pieces of equipment for packaging and distribution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bag firewood products accurately and efficiently according to company guidelines.
- Ensure the quality of firewood, checking for any defects or inconsistencies before bagging.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude towards work, fostering a motivated and supportive work environment.
- Work independently and responsibly, following instructions and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Operate bagging equipment and machinery with care and efficiency, reporting any issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with general housekeeping and organization of the work area to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Communicate any concerns or improvements regarding bagging processes to the supervisor.
- Aid clients that walk into our location to pick up firewood products.
- Take directive from our general manager to be a team player and help around site.
- Must have reliable transport to and from work.

**Requirements**:

- No previous experience is required for this position.
- A strong work ethic with a willingness to work hard and contribute to the team's success.
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain enthusiasm even during demanding tasks.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Demonstrated efficiency in handling tasks and meeting productivity targets.
- Comfortable working independently and responsibly following safety guidelines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to operate bagging equipment effectively (training will be provided).

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
