- The Video Content Manager plans, creates, implements, and manages video content for digital marketing projects and events under the direction of the Director of Digital Marketing. This individual will be responsible for creating clear and effective Insurance and Investment video content for digital marketing projects within our brand guidelines and focused on target audiences that include both customers and financial advisors.

This role requires strong project management and collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple projects from different stakeholders at the same time. The individual will be confidently able to balance the competing needs of a fast-paced business, and individual stakeholders.

**What you’ll be working on**- Manage the development of video content to effectively represent our brand, products and services to our customers, markets or other external groups.Source and edit B-Roll video, internally produced video and externally produced video for use in digital marketing activities.-
- Copywriting for various video marketing projects, including “How to ” videos, Testimonials, Product launch videos, advertising and social media campaign video, etc. Tasks may include research, writing, editing and working with outside writers, designers, video production studios and other vendors.-
- Elevate our video content to positively impact our customers’ experience with our brand-
- Work collaboratively with the various marketing and communications teams to ensure the active execution of creative video assets internally and/or externally-
- Ensure compliance with The Empire Life Brand and Regulatory requirements**What you'll need to have**- 2+ years of video content development experience-
- 3+ years of communications or digital marketing experience.-
- Diploma or undergraduate degree, preferably in a creative, marketing or business administration area of studies-
- Expertise using video editing software. Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Rush or Premiere Pro (preferred)-
- Expertise Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)-
- Expertise with marketing automation software preferred (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, etc..)-
- Proven stakeholder management skills: Strong collaboration, time and project management skills.-
- Excellent writing, editing and research skills, with superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation-
- Proactive, innovative, creative, positive, articulate and professional.**Working Conditions**- Hybrid environment - 90% Virtual, 10% Toronto Office (York Mills)-
- Prolonged periods of concentration and attention to detail-
- Prolonged periods of sitting while using a computer and/or telephone-
- Prolonged repetitive actions (i.e. keyboarding)-
- Frequent interruptions-
