Role Overview

We're looking for a talented individual to produce engaging video content and manage our social media channels (primarily for Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking audiences). This role combines video production, editing, and strategy — perfect for a content creator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

Video Editing Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, short- and long-form video content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and WeChat
  • Edit footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
  • Add subtitles (Cantonese & Mandarin), transitions, and other visual effects to enhance viewer engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to turn concepts into compelling visual stories
  • Repurpose existing content for different formats and channels
  • Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with our brand identity

Social Media Management Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and publish posts across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, WeChat)
  • Develop and execute content strategies tailored to Chinese-speaking audiences
  • Monitor analytics to measure performance and adjust content accordingly
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages professionally
  • Stay up to date on platform trends, algorithm changes, and viral formats

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar
  • Experience managing social media accounts, especially for Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking audiences
  • Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is required
  • Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines independently
  • Bonus: Familiarity with WeChat, Xiaohongshu, or Chinese social platforms
